Chelsea’s new head coach Xabi Alonso has singled out midfielder Jordan Henderson for his “elite” work ethic and professionalism. Speaking after Henderson’s recent integration into the squad, Alonso highlighted the veteran’s ability to adapt quickly to life at Stamford Bridge and stressed that his experience will be a key asset for the club’s midfield dynamics. The Liverpool‑capped player, now a Chelsea signing, has been praised for his strong personality and commitment, traits that Alonso believes will help shape a winning culture at the club.
